Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd continued to build on her win in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd won her next bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional bout. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. She won her next fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy in the catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round with a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final bout for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round in the second. Her dominance grew and she scored a more impressive win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd won the fight in the first round and was awarded the performance of the Night Prize. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was victorious in an unanimous decision in some great exchanges among the pair of fighters, was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking her streak to win. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
