Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota is a journalist writer, author and anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day." She lives in Westport, CT, and was elected to Westport Country Playhouse's board of trustees. Camerota's three decades of journalism has seen her write many stories in the United States and internationally. Additionally, she has won the Edward R. Murrow Award as well as an Emmy Award. Johnna G. Torsone from Stamford was appointed an honorary board member following being on the board for more than seven years. Anna Czekaj Farber, who serves as the current chair of the Westport board, having been as its chair since 2013, is an incoming board member. Czekaj Farber replaces Barbara Streicker from Westport who held the position of chairperson in the past year and continues to hold this position ever since.
